Janpath is a well known market in Rajiv chowk (Connaught place) behind LIC (Life Insurance Corporation) building. The market is known for its cheap clothes and accessories at the price you can’t imagine (but you have to bargain for that). Janpath market also have many food stalls you can try Dal Mot as there are many street vendors and cheese ball from Depaul’s with cold coffee.
yesterday I went there (Janpath Market) with my friend vinay, we took Metro to the Rajiv Chowk Metro Station and exited from gate number 5 near Palika Bazaar (It is also a great market for clothes, electronics and accessories, but I will tell you about it on another day) and took the first left towards the LIC building, cross the road through subway and walked for 2 minutes and reached the Janpath Market on the left hand. Market was crowded and the salesmen were trying to sale the items. Left side of the market is the girls section and right side is the boys section and in the end of the market there are some shops of accessories like sunglasses, handicrafts, decoration items etc. The market have variety of clothes in trend, one can buy t-shirts, shirts, jeans, and many other items from there.
There is a shop behind the Janpath market the shop number 1 named ‘Rainbow’ you can buy graphic t-shirts from there but the unique thing is that you can tell them what you want to print on a plain t-shirt, they have a great range of graphic designs, and even you can print your name on the t-shirt, at a affordable price. So my opinion is go and try.
Now the most important thing FOOD. My personal favorite eating joint near Janpath is Depaul’s. My favorite items are cheese ball, tandoori sandwich, paneer tikka sandwich and cold coffee. Depaul have a good Varity of sandwiches and rolls and the price range is from Rs. 20 to 60.
Facts To Know: In Janpath you can buy clothes and accessories of latest trend.
Best Time To Visit: Opens 6 days a week, except Sunday.
How to Reach: Take Metro to the Rajiv Chowk Station, exit from gate no. 5 from there you have to walk for 10min towards the LIC building and behind the building there is the market.
Advice: You have to bargain a lot, if you are expert in bargaining then it is good otherwise learn the rule:
Make the price half, that the shopkeeper tell you (always work when buying clothes).

Thanks a ton for the post. Since I am new to Delhi, I do not know most of the places here. I was searching for something to guide me with the markets here. And thankfully I found it.
